It’s my first time to the Global Business Camps and it’s been a fantastic experience. It’s a great product, and as a director of a start-up company, it’s been very powerful to have a look at the things that we’re doing, things we’re doing right, but all the things we need to do. I’ve been involved in many, many training programs over my career and I have to say that this is a very well put together product, and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anybody that is in a small business environment. It’s great to step away, spend a bit of time looking at your business, working on your business, versus in the business. We’ve got plenty to do and I’m looking forward to getting stuck back into it when I get home.
This is my first conference. I was encouraged to attend by my accountant. What I’ve found so far has opened my eyes to things we are not doing. We’ve neglected the core values of the business. It’s just been a great experience so far and I’m looking forward to coming back next year.
We would have paid ten times the amount it cost to attend the Global Business Camp, it was that amazing. It’s the best thing we have ever done for our business. We work more efficiently, everything flows better and we have implemented policies and procedures that have made life so much easier. The great thing about the camp is that there were so many different industries represented from builders and doctors to architects and retail shops like us. This Camp applies to any business and anyone who wants to improve in business would be silly not to attend!

To come along to the Business Camp I had my arm fairly hardly twisted by my accountant, but he got me here and I couldn’t be more wrapped. I’ve learnt a great deal about managing my business, managing my people. We’ve had some fantastic inspiring talks with guest speakers and celebrities and would recommend the camp to anyone. I’ll certainly be back and passing the knowledge onto my staff.

I’ve got upmarket car wash cafes around Brisbane. The one thing I’ve learnt from the Camp is that we don’t plan anywhere near enough. We plan to go on holidays, we plan how to build our house but we don’t really plan as to where we want our business to be in 5 then 10 years so that we’ve got a set goal to get to. I would definitely recommend anyone’s attendance as this camp, but also that the tools you get to take away will be invaluable to our business. I look forward to being here again

This is my first year at Global Business Camps and initially I was quite concerned, scared of coming to a business camp. I’ve never done anything like this before and I didn’t know if I would be completely out of my depth. I’ve survived to day 3 and I’ve got so much out of it! It’s been a great experience, I feel like I got a whole lot of resources and tools that I can take home and now work on my business with my husband. I feel like I have the tools that I can really contribute and be involved in taking our business to the next level. I would really recommend Global Business Camps, it’s a great opportunity to really work on your business and learn about how to work on it not just in it.
I am the director of Outback Whips and Leather in Broken Hill. This is our second business camp and even as a small business out in the centre of Australia, we just got so much out of it the first year. It was a bit overwhelming, but we’ve come back this year more focussed and it’s just absolutely brilliant.
